Rose's Bread/ Sarah's Bread

I'm really not sure why this recipe has two names, but it doesn't matter because it is good and makes nice sized loaves.

Rose's/Sarah's Bread
-------------------------------------------------------

Warm the bowl you are going to use
1/2 cup fruit warmed slightly - (applesauce (I use most times), zucchini, pumpkin) in measuring cup add hot water to make 2 1/2 cups with the fruit.
Add 1 TBS yeast (proof the yeast first by dissolving it in a little warm water and then adding a little sugar. I usually end up with a yeast foam type mixture which is perfect.)
1/2 scant  tsp fruit fresh (the powder stuff that keeps apples from browning)
5 cups whole wheat flour (I always forget about the bread flour later in the recipe so I usually end up doing 2 cups bread flour here and 1 cup wheat flour later.)
mix together and let sit for 15-20 minute covered with plastic wrap.

Add 2 tsp salt
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/3 cup oil - little less
2 cups bread flour- little less

Knead for 2 minutes
let rise in bowl for 1 hour
Shape into 2 loaves (Big loaves!)
let rise until good sized loaf about 30 minutes
Bake 350*F 28-30 minutes.
