Rice Cooker Mac and Cheese

I found this recipe here and decided to give it a try. It was so good and very creamy esp with the addition of the cream of chicken.



Rice Cooker Macaroni and Cheese

1 3/4 cup chicken broth
1/2 can cream of chicken 
2 C pasta; uncooked (shells, elbow mac, whole wheat, etc.)
1/4 - 1/2 C milk
2 C cheese, shredded
Veggies (I used broccoli and carrots)

Combine chicken broth, cream of chicken, and pasta in rice cooker (I also added in so paprika and this roasted red pepper and garlic seasoning stuff). Close the rice cooker and turn it on to cook. after about 10 minutes add the veggies (I just used the steamer basket). Keep checking the pasta and the amount of liquid, make sure there is always a little liquid. Once the pasta is al dente add the milk and cheese, stir, and set the rice cooker to warm. Let sit for about 5 minutes and serve.
