Kalvin made these cookies tonight. They are very tasty. The oatmeal gives them a nice texture.
Oatmeal Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4white sugar
- 1/4 brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1- 1 1/2 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1-3/4 cups quick-cooking oats or rolled oats, toasted in the oven for about 5 minutes while oven is preheating
- 1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
- In a bowl, combine Butter and sugars. Add egg, banana and vanilla. Blend in flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and oats; mix well. Stir in chips and nuts.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks. Yield: 4 dozen.
