First and probably only produce of the year!!

The first produce of the year was picked tonight. One little tomato and one zucchini. Above is the beautiful tomato.


 I'm not sure why the zucchini was weird shaped but it didn't matter because it didn't shrivel up like all the rest of the zucchinis have. I think its because it was growing close to the ground and all the big leaves were hiding it.....

The zucchini was chopped.

And then added to Kalvin's foil dinner to take on the high adventure camping trip with the scouts tomorrow. Looks pretty good considering we didn't have any potatoes!

The rest of the zucchini was then shredded and frozen, later to be used to make some bread!

Maybe if we are VERY lucky we might get one or two more things from the "garden" this year, but that's only if we are extremely lucky.
